Cop26 n Zero Carbon? How About 'Zero Shit'?

Worstminster MPs are facing a righteous and well-deserved brimstone n fire backlash from every fucker n their dog after they voted against the amendment of a House of Conmans bill crafted to prevent delinquent water companies dumping raw sewage into Britain’s rivers and coastal waters.

A mere twenty-two 'think for ourselves' Conservative MPs rebelled against their own incumbent Tory Nasty Party government by defying party whips and voting in favour an amendment to the Environment Bill, which sought to place a legal duty on water companies and prevent them pumping raw sewage into the rivers of our once-sceptred isle.

Sewage pollution is the key component of a chemical cocktail of toxic pollutants – an untreated effluent including not only crap n pee but sanitary towels, soggy bog paper, wet wipes and condoms, along with all manner of undigested medications n hormones – all going into our once-pristine river systems – with records showing that raw sewage was unscrupulously discharged into our waterways in excess of 400,000 times in 2020.

These utterly scandalous revelations come seven weeks after wastewater plants were given a green light by the government's Environment Agency to dispose of untreated sewage due an insufficient stock of chemicals caused by supply chain disruptions - the truck driver shortage – and Egypt's 'short cut' Suez Canal being blocked for a few days in March this year.

The amendment, introduced in the Upper House of Frauds by the Duke of Wellygogs, would have also forced water companies and the Government to ‘take all reasonable steps’ to avoid using the combined sewer overflows, which regularly release untreated waste into rivers and seas.

Campaign groups including Surfers Against Shit said it was crucial to ensure action to tackle sewage pollution started now.

Conversely, Environment Secretary George Useless recommended MPs reject these embarrassing amendments to the bill, just days prior to Crime Minister Bonkers Boris Nonsense hosting world leaders at the Cop26 climate change summit in grotty Glasgow.

In a bid to offset the hail of incoming flak, craven Tory MPs have been defending themselves from accusations they gave the go-ahead to water companies to dump raw sewage in rivers after the Environment Bill amendment - which was crafted to place legal duties on the water companies to reduce indiscriminate discharges - was defeated by 265 votes to 202 last week – with critics screaming 'Hypocrisy' from the rooftops claiming the Tory government is lecturing the world on climate change and zero carbon emissions while its rivers, coastal waters and sea shores are polluted with unprocessed sewage.

To wit, WTF is the solution to a problem that results from thirty-plus years of 'couldn't give a flying fuck' attitudes from governments, past and present – resulting in a massive under-investment for upgrading and expanding the entire sewage treatment infrastructure – which boils down to a complete failure of oversight and regulation of the privatised water and sewerage industry in England by the Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat) environment agency itself.
