Gun Resembling Lego Toy Sparks Backlash

A colourful handgun resembling a Lego clip-together bricks toy has sparked a shitstorm of backlash in the good ole US of A.US

A not too smart US gun company is facing a Biblical scale adverse reaction for producing a pistol that looks like a children's toy - made of Lego.

Shit-For-Brains Precision claims its customised Glock weapon, named the Block19, was developed to "highlight the pure enjoyment of shooting up the school yard".

Conversely, Danish toymaker Lego has written to the company demanding that it stop producing the weapon, which is clad in what appear to be Lego bricks.

Gun control campaigners described the pistol as irresponsible and not a very funny idea.

Glenda Slagg, of the Gobshite Karens for Gun Safety campaign group, told one media hack from the Wokesters Gazette that she had contacted the Denmark-based Lego offices viz the customised Block19 and they had issued an international cease and desist order against the gunmakers.

Shit-For-Brains Precision's CEO, Billy Bob Dorkbender, informed one press hack from the Drive By Review that owning and shooting firearms can be a great leisure activity for kids – adding that the firearm could only be purchased by children accompanied with an adult.

While it is illegal in the US to produce a children's toy that precisely resembles a real gun, the laws do not explicitly prevent manufacturers from making a gun that resembles a toy – or an umbrella that fires ricin pellets.
